CONTINUOUS SOFTWARE INTELLIGENCE
CodeLogic’s mission is to revolutionize the way businesses build and modernize software applications. Teams using CodeLogic can map, analyze and understand application code dependencies from API to method to database – on a schedule, on-demand, or every time a build is completed. CodeLogic’s dependency intelligence helps development teams reduce break/fix cycles, inform task completion time lines, improve collaboration, and make code changes with confidence.
In the basic diagram above, the CodeLogic Server application is installed on a server in your company, typically a devoted system in a staging, QA, or development environment. You then install and configure the CodeLogic Agent on a server that houses your applications, databases or APIs. The CodeLogic Agent scans your specified applications and databases and sends metadata to the CodeLogic Server. The results of the scan can then be viewed in a web browser.
You can collapse the menu by clicking the arrow. Click the arrow again to expand the menu.
Your CodeLogic Overview gives you a high-level look at dependencies across multiple applications. For an in-depth look at Overview, see Overview.
The CodeLogic Dashboard gives you an immediate view of important stats for your application. For an in-depth look at the Application Dashboard, see Dashboard.
CodeLogic finds application dependencies that otherwise would not be known without extensive examination of source code. Double-clicking an item will expand the view to the next level. A single-click on an item will display information about the item on the right side of the window. For an in-depth look at the Explorer, see Explorer.
CodeLogic currently has two report types:
- Item Report - The Item Report provides you with a list of items associated with a specific application.
- Relationship Report - The Item Details Reports shows you which items are connected, the Relationship Report shows you how the items are connected.
For an in-depth look at Reports, see Reports.
In Admin you can manage your agents and users. This is also where you will find the CodeLogic Installers. For an in-depth look at Admin, see Server Administration.
